Play time!

Once upon a time, long before children arrived, my sweet husband had grand visions of putting a pool table in our formal living/dinig area. I gently had to break the news that the room would probably be best used for the kids to play. He finally acquiesced, only with my promise that we will someday have rights to this room. But for now, it is the haven for our girls!

A ride on the wild side!

The girls love to play with Peyla's old radio flyer wagon/walker. It helped Peyla learn to walk and now Ali loves to push it around the house! But the best part is getting rides in the wagon!

Getting ready...

 Go!
Not really sure what to think.
Everything is more fun with her best friend Peyla!
Whew! That was too much excitement.

Aliyah

This face!! Just...can't...get...enough.

Fixed! Christmas recap.

Whew! Fixed the technical difficulties (or rather- got a little smarter on Blogger!). Here is a recap from our Christmas festivities:

Making cookies for Santa (yes, those are slice-n-bake. Don't judge! lol)
Party time! I don't think that was made to be a two-seater. Peyla begs to differ!
Hi sweet little elf! Best present that we got this year. :)
Christmas morning...Peyla is checking the note Santa left for her and surveying the cookie crumbs.
 Stockings are so fun!
This was her first Christmas that she really started to *get it*.
Ali however, was more into mommy's camera!
I will never need anything for Christmas again. I already have the two best prizes in the world!

Stay tuned!

Well here I go again, procrastinating on posting pictures. This time I swear I've tried! lol. Blogger is having some technical difficulties with uploading pictures from the computer browser, so I will keep trying! Stay tuned...

A breath of fresh air!

After living here for 4 years, we finally splurged and purchased a security door. We just wanted to have the ability to leave the front door open, while having the kids safe and not scampering out unnoticed. It was finally installed and you would think they've never had fresh air before! It's their favorite place to hang out, plus it makes a lovely LOUD noise when they bang on it.

*Note: that is mango/pear on her face leftover from lunch. Yum! lol.
