A breath of fresh air!

After living here for 4 years, we finally splurged and purchased a security door. We just wanted to have the ability to leave the front door open, while having the kids safe and not scampering out unnoticed. It was finally installed and you would think they've never had fresh air before! It's their favorite place to hang out, plus it makes a lovely LOUD noise when they bang on it.

*Note: that is mango/pear on her face leftover from lunch. Yum! lol.

Getting ready for Christmas!

We have had the most fun this year, preparing for Christmas! Peyla is at that age when her understanding of Christmas is flourishing. To see her face light up at all of the festivities, it just melts me. Her joy is infectious! I had a friend tell me that I was so cheery this year ("like a little elf")...I just can't help myself. I never imagined I would be so blessed to have these two precious loves!
