Mother's Day

Peyla and Brendon were so sweet in planning a little outing for us on Mother's Day. "They" packed a cooler full of breakfast items and Daddy's Bears blanket and we had a delicious picnic in the park. It was so early (6:30! thanks Peyla!) that we were the only ones there. It felt like we were having our own little party while the world was still asleep! We topped the day off with Peyla swimming for the first time in her kiddie pool...perfect day!!

We visited my folks last weekend for a delicious Sunday dinner. Peyla always loves her time at the ranch (their house) and of course basks in all their attention!

My First Pony

Peyla is a lucky girl and already received her first pony (spoiled)! Grandpa & Grandma Klawonn came to visit her last week and brought her this great new toy. She's going to be a cowgirl!

Peyla received a card in the mail from her grandparents and had the best time opening it! And flipping it. And chewing it. And throwing it. and so on.... ;)

Easter!

Easter was so fun with peyla that I shamefully didn't get many photos! Peyla woke up to the easter basket that was left for her by the Easter Bunny. Then we quickly cleaned up and headed to Brendon's parents' house to celebrate!

Grammy's brunch

Peyla's first Easter was such a wonderful time! We spent Saturday (the day before) at my mom's house for a lovely family brunch. Grammy and Grandpa gave Peyla the basket that was left for her by the Easter bunny. She was a little unsure at first but then it was pure excitement!
