The Butterfly Exhibit

Brendon & I took Peyla to see the butterfly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Gardens last week. The exhibit was a small pavilion with several hundred butterflies in it and it was awesome! Peyla seemed to have more fun watching all of the other kids (there were several school bus loads!) than the butterflies. I think they were a little difficult for her to focus on. I tried to get some good photos but they just didn't turn out. We did, however, enjoy practicing some shots around the beautiful gardens!

Viva Mexico!

We headed south of the border to celebrate my mother's birthday last weekend and Peyla loved Mexico! She enjoyed the beach and loved the sound of the ocean. One stroller ride on the beach and she was soon asleep!

Peyla has been patiently waiting for the Easter Bunny's arrival. In the meantime, she found her own bunny ears and decided to pretend!

9 Months Old

Peyla is now 9 months old! She had her well-check with the pediatrician and she weighs 16.4 lbs and is 27 1/2 inches long. She is such an active and spirited little girl! I have loved every minute of the last 9 months! Yes, even the tough ones. :)
