Peyla's 1st Valentine's Day

Peyla enjoyed her very first Valentine's Day on Monday. She got a pretty red balloon and a little teddy bear...she was enthralled with the balloon! Our sweet cupid. :)

In Loving Memory

It is with deep sadness that we lost my beloved grandfather today. Al "Papa" Sorensen passed away this afternoon after a heroic 5-month battle with cancer. He was an amazing father figure in my life and absolutely adored Peyla (his "button"). We love you Papa!

Brendon and I took a quick trip to Aspen, CO for the chance to snowboard! It was really difficult leaving Peyla for those few days but she was a great "helper" while we packed. I think snowboarding might be in her blood! (thanks to daddy)

Just a few random pictures from the last week. As an update- Peyla will turn 7 months this week! At her 6-month well check she weighed in at 14 lbs 4 oz and 26 in long! We can't believe how quickly time is passing so we soak her up every day!

A Day in the Park

We took Peyla to the green belt and went for a long walk in search of ducks! We had a great time with her and it was a beautiful day in AZ. Even shared a little gelato on the walk home. That's on the New Year's diet, right??

My Muse

I got a great new camera for Christmas and am taking a photography workshop in a few weeks! Of course I have made Peyla my own little muse. :) She sits wonderfully for the camera...I think she is fascinated by it. Here's a few of many!
